You can read the Faq page here: LadyCup Faqs

I was so excited to get to review this as I had been wanting to try a menstrual cup for awhile! Also when checking into different cups I found out the Lady cup was the shortest of the menstrual cups on the market which made me feel better since I had heard of women having to cut their stem completely off with other cups.
Well I was kind of disappointed with the cup. It leaked everytime & it wasn't because of the positioning it was because I have a pretty heavy flow I guess & maybe I should have went with a bigger cup.
The customer service quite frankly sucked, I don't care I'm putting it out here. I want to be honest in my reviews. They sent me 2 cups in 1 size small packaging & when I made them aware of it they offered to send out new packaging. I said I don't think my readers would like my hands touching their hygeine product so she offered to send another one as long as I paid shipping (mind you I had already paid shipping for the first ones) I finally agreed so that you all could have a chance to win one then I figured heck I'll repackage the other one as well so that 2 of you have a chance to win!
If you do not care that I repackaged the cup myself then make sure you tell me in your comment that you don't care if my grubby ;) hands grabbed the bag from the wrong packaging & placed it in the right packaging. Otherwise I will only put you in to win the already packaged one.

Now you can go to LadyCup & buy one for yourself (you know if you want one in color) or you can take your chance & win (the clear one with red polka dot bag) one of the 2 that I have here!

How do you WIN?

For your initial entry you MUST go to LadyCup look around then come back here & tell me something you learned OR if you use a cup tell me which kind& if you like it!

i used the moon cup b4 snapdragon and intend to use it again. i did use it when i was trying to determine if my water had broken too, lol! i mostly like it, but i've had to trim the stem and sometimes it feels like it's a touch bigger than it should be.. but that's just me.
and i don't care if your grubby hands touched it, dahlink. i am actually fully well capable of washing a menstrual cup, elsewise i should't be trusted with one! besides, you need to wash it first anyway!

I have the DivaCup and I love it. I got the size 2 for after child birth and it's great. Never had a leak with it and didn't have to do any stem trimming. My sister had to do a tiny bit with hers. Takes a few times of practice to get it down, but it's AMAZING!

The ladycup has a lifetime of up to 15 years if maintained correctly. I haven't used any other cup but I plan to go that route and cloth pads after I give birth.

I learned that the lady cup is a safe alternative to tampons which can cause toxic shock syndrome.

I've considered trying one before. I really like that the site says it pays for itself after 4 months of use & being able to wear it up to 12 hrs would be GREAT!

I have never used one before but I have considered it. I love that it is a solid piece of silicone to reduce bacteria.

I've never used a cup before, but would love to try, especially one that is said to be shorter.

Did you know that the Lady Cup has received a recommendation from the Institute of Health?

#1 Added you as a fave on Technorati (EnchantedDandelions).

(P.S. I kept meaning to say that I don't mind the one out of the package).

I have used the diva cup and LOVE IT, but of course would love to try the Lady cup because of the shorter stem.

You make adorable babies.

Slee July 16, 2009 3:44 PM

so i commented on your soap whoring post, tiny bubbles by the natural baby company.
thanks for the heads up! i'm excited to try it, but can't imagine that i'd love it more than rockin' green, which is currently my go to detergent, even though i have FIVE GALLONS of homemade goodness and a whole bottle of tide free.

I use the Diva Cup. It's terrific. I'm so glad I found it. I think it's a conspiracy that more women don't know about them. : ) More money for Always and Kotex. This one is really neat, better priced and prettier! Thanks.

I haven't tried one, but would like too. I also don't care if its the one you touched. :)

i want to see those boys hula dancing. it'd be cute. maybe put little leis around their necks. positively adorable, i'm sure.

momof3dolls July 20, 2009 1:42 PM

I've used the Diva Cup for the first time! So far I like it should've brought another one. I'm hoping I could win it instead!

Dani V. July 23, 2009 2:18 PM

I have used a mooncup UK and liked it. I cut the stem too short because it bugged me and now it's difficult to put in right because it's easier to grab the end of the stem and twist to get it to suction. I think if I were to *buy* another one I would go with the lunette.

I don't mind if you touched the cup. :)

Lady cup should be emptied 2-4 times during the day and once at night.

Molly July 25, 2009 9:23 PM

I'm using the Diva cup right now...the jury is still out, it has it's pros and cons - but I'd be thrilled to try a new brand to see if maybe it's a better fit.

Oh, and either cup would be fine with me. ;-)

Well, it is not closed yet - so I will FINALLY enter - I learned that the Lady Cup can be in for up to 12 hours
