About Us

I love and collect monkeys, hence the name "My Silly
Monkeys," for my new venture.
After the initial adjustment period of the birth of my second
son, and despite the demands of motherhood, I became
aware of the potential of being able to earn extra money
working at home, sewing items that I often loved finding and
buying.  It was a challenging undertaking, requiring the use
of some "mommy time" and "sleep time."  

I began by searching for the right fabrics and trimmings, and
working on various designs.  Many hours were also spent
on the internet learning the ins and outs of being a vendor
on the web.  
My family and friends support and encouragement led the
way to make this endeavor a reality and to develop my skill.  
Sharing my ideas with them has kept me focused and as I
continue in this venture, I realize the rewarding feeling of
having the creative part of me allowed to have some fun.

I want to thank my husband(Pat), sons (Weston & Dylan),
and my Mom and Dad for everything, I love you.
